MIDNIGHT MADNESS SUCKAS!!

Just got back from Midnight Madness in TerpTown.

For those that don't know, Midnight Madness was started in TerpTown in 1970 by our Coach Lefty Driesell, who used to start his first practice of the basketball season at exactly 12:01 AM every year, the absolute earliest it could be run under NCAA rules.

Since then, its been adopted by other schools, and has become sort of a quasi pep rally, cheer practice, showcase, advertisement junket and dunk contest all in one

Its just really fun to get back out there and get back into college basketball again...I can't wait for the season to start for my Terps...we have a great team this year, we only lost Jamar Smith....

BTW...the ACC is FREAKIN INSANE this year!...Six teams...Six! in the Top 25.....3 teams in the ESPN Top 5...absolutely ungodly amount of great teams and talent in our conference...

Ga Tech made the final 4 last year and has everyone back....Wake has Chris Paul and mostly everyone else back....UNC still has May, McCants and Felton....Duke lost a lot of people but is still Duke...NC State has Julius Hodge and most of their team back, and my Terps....

Can't wait to enjoy them free games!!

saw the highlights on espnnews, the cheerleader guy that knocked over the flaming hoop reminded me of will ferrell in old school. and the coach struggling to get out of the car while "bad to the bone" played was just silly.

Hell yeah, the ACC is going to be nuts. Maybe not this year, but look out for Clemson in the next few years. They had an awesome recruit class this year and will be much much better very soon.

And I fucking missed midnight madness because saturday was homecoming and our float needed some last minute tuning-up.
