World Title: I choose HBK. Because there's no way HHH is losing here. I don't want to see Benoit job to him, and despite what the rest of you think, I believe Edge has a future as a main eventer in the WWE, and quite frankly I don't want to see him be Hunter's job boy. Let Shawn job his ass off on Tuesday, at least he'll make Hunter look good while doing it.

IC Title: A Jericho v. Benjamin match could be great. Naturally, I'd rather choose Jericho v. Steven Richards. What we'll probably get: Jericho v. Batista, with Batista winning, simply because we can't let Evolution go without totally dominating the RAW brand.

Tag match: La Resistance v. Benoit / Edge, with B/E predictably losing once Edge turns on Benoit.

Orton v. Flair: Cage, I guess.

Kane v. THE GENE POOL~! Snitsky: Lead pipe. Here's hoping Snitsky goes over. Seriously.

Eugene v. Bischoff: Couldn't give a shit.

So, for those that watched it, how was it?

I read the results and I was surprised at two things. First, that they actually went by fan's votes and didn't rig the contest and second, that the HBK-HHH match took a back seat to the main event of Flair-Orton.

I'm glad that Benjamin is now finally IC Champ. It's going to definitely catapault his career. I hope he holds it for a long time and Jericho is bumped up to World Heavyweight Title status.

As far as the other matches, the WWE most likely had a situation for each of the posibilities as far as the voting for the World Heavyweight Title match went, and since HBK won, they made Edge a full fledged heel.

Orton and Flair would have had a good match no matter what it was and the end result would have been the same. I believe that Flair is now going to turn on Trips and be in Randy's corner.

As far as the Eugene/Bischoff match, again, there were planned results for each of the stipulations. I guess Vince isn't fully done getting his revenge on Bischoff so he decided to humiliate him some more. I would have had William Regal interfere and turn him heel by causing Eugene to lose. They could have given Eugene the cut Angle gave to Big Show on Smackdown, and then have Eugene come back as bald, no facial hair, and as Nick Dinsmore, Eugene's relative who's come back to take some revenge for his "brother" or "cousin" or however you would work it. Then you could go into the split personality angle I talked about a while back.

Benoit and Edge being reluctant tag team champs is going to be interesting seeing that Edge wants only the World Heavyweight Championship and Benoit it seems will just take what he can get. I don't know where there going to take this one and if it will involve Edge having a feud with HBK and Benoit having to find a new partner (Jericho and Benoit II anyone?).

I think the point of putting the titles on Benoit (and Edge) is so that we get YET ANOTHER "Tag partners who hate each other" angle, which will quickly culminate in a Benoit / Edge feud.....which I won't know what to think about, because proper booking, if they really want to get Edge over as a heel, calls for Edge to go over Benoit. It'll be yet another midcard feud for Benoit, when he should be main eventing, but at least I have 100% confidence Benoit will make the feud entertaining.

And you can't deny that it wasn't good to see Chris Benoit as the "One Man Army" last night.

As for Gene Snitsky - WOW. Holy fuck are they giving this guy a monster push. Let's just hope that they don't do what they did with Eugene earlier on this year and cram the guy down everyone's throats until we're sick of him a good few months before we should be.
