I am renovating my office (in Woodside Queens)and have a bunch of old, but in great condition office furniture (file cabinets etc.) I have no interest in selling them, but would like to donate them to a Charity. I have looked, but not found one, so it seems we'll be throwing it all out.
Any suggestions..anyone know a charity that could use used office furniture... all they have to do is pick it up. (The stuff is big and heavy)
Any advice would be appreciated...

It's office stuff.
Four file cabinets.
One Lateral File.
A Locker type cabinet
One cabinet that the doors open laterally but nothing slides out. (Think doctor's office)
Two cabinets that sit on top of like a credenza thing. The doors slide and there are two moveable shelves inside.
Two huge side desks that have side walls and a top shelf. Like a permanent cubicle. These things have to weigh 150lbs (at least) each. They have a narrow, but wide drawer and a huge drawer.
Lastly an enormous desk that is the same as above but instead of drawers the size of the top have to side drawers. And storage areas on top that roll down and are lockable.
This stuff is all from an insurance office.
Repeat... I want no money for this and I don't care who takes them. Business, Charity etc (no terrorists please) You just gotta take 'em all and we are on a deadline. They go in the dumpster no later than 10/27.
If your interested PM me and I'll give you my address and cell number.
