According to wrestlingattitude.com, there have been reports from backstage that many Smackdown wrestlers want Paul Heyman to be the head booker for their brand as well as RAW.

Heyman has been seen as to complicated to deal with by WWE management and has much heat with Brian Gerwitz (the real reason WWE sucks).

Heyman did have an idea which was shot down by the WWE that involved a trade between Angle and Benoit in which Angle would go to RAW to work a program with HBK into WrestleMania and also against Evolution, mainly Ric Flair and Triple H. This trade would have occurred before Angle's stable was created for him. Benoit was to become the heel on Smackdown and work a program with the Undertaker. The main reason for that was to break up the politics between Angle and Undertaker.

I believe that the wrestlers are right in saying that Heyman should become head booker. Are the WWE afraid of actually having good quality booking? I know Heyman is definitely going to rally some allies in the wrestlers if he wants to get things done his way, which I hope to the wrestling gods does happen.

Angle going to Raw would save his career. He's dying on Smackdown, on the other hand Chris needs to stay on Raw too.

Everyone needs to be on Raw. Smackdown sucks.

Try doing it live.

Heyman is, quite simply, an "outsider" and is not a yes-man to the McMahons, so there's no chance of him becoming head booker.

Just feel fortunate he's even has his small on-air role as Heidenreich's manager.

Do you think that Heyman will have influence on the writing and booking now that he is more of an outside source and does not have a technical title?

Heyman is about the only reason I have even the slightest interest in watching Heidenreich. You can never be absolutely sure how Heyman is going to do something.

I'm about to turn it up a notch!

I suppose one should always say "Never say never in the WWE!", but I would have to say, barring one scenario, Heyman will not get writing or booking power so long as the current creative team is still in power.

That one scenario where I can see him getting control is if the ratings continue to tank, and tank badly, for one or both brands. In that situation, they MAY decide to give him some control again (but don't hold your breath, as they haven't taken steps to correct the downward spiral the company has been in for three years now).
