If anyone saw smackdown last night, for the first time in a while it was actually good. Booker T turned face and kicked the crap out of JBL. It is obvious they will face each other at Survivor Series on Nov 14th. I bet Booker wins the title too.

Booker T was teamed up with RVD and Rey against Bradshaw/Suzuki & Dupree. After talking down RVD and Rey (not wanting to be teamed up with anyone/too good for Smackdown), he stayed out of most of the match.

Tagged in by Rey, he seemed to be in agreement with Bradshaw and held Rey for Bradshaw to get free shots. 'Suddenly' Booker exploded and offense, cleaned out all the tag champs and finished off Bradshaw with a scissor kick then pin.

Booker is just too liked by the crowds to not return to being a face. He cut his most-spirited promos that I remember last night since those first ones upon arriving on Smackdown and going heel, had the crowd last night in his corner. I hope he goes against Bradshaw and finally earns a long-overdue top spot. (Obviously, I'm a big Booker T fan)

Yea, last night's SmackDown really hit the spot. They had Carlito spit his apple at Torrie, which went well since Torrie actually did a good acting job. Then they had Chavo come back and go face to attack a very cocky Billy Kidman. And they wrapped it all up with Booker beating the snot out of Kenzo Suzuki, Renee Dupree, axe kicking JBL for the win, and then giving a charging Orlando Jordan the Book end. I was veeeeery pleased. If they keep this up they'll pass Raw once again.

Probably the most I've heard out of Kidman, and he was pretty good. I would have liked some kind of better tie in to the fight when Chavo attacked him.

It was pretty cool that the crowd sounded really up for Chavo's return.

So Carlito spit in Torrie's face. She didn't answer his question....and that's not cool. Kenzo is pretty funny with the singing.

Damn. I wished I saw it. I've always been a big Booker fan. I thought they always thought "Why give him a big push when we can keep him a mid-carder and the fans still love him." Good for him.

With Booker as champ and being in the spotlight of Smackdown, they can really turn the brand around.

I know there are some anti-Booker folks on the board, but frankly, putting the belt on Booker is the right thing to do, for the simple fact that the PPV buyrates prove the JBL-as-champion experiment is a failure.

PPV buyrates for the company as a whole, but for the Smackdown brand in particular, have dropped below the panic mark. They need to take the title off JBL ASAP, and Booker is a better choice. He'd likely only be a transitional champ anyway, as Angle & Taker seem to have a strangle-hold on the political landscape of Smackdown, and thus it's going to be one or the other of them with the belt facing off against the other at Mania. My bet is that some time within the next month or so - likely at SS - JBL drops the belt to either Booker or Big Show.

Cena will likely be back from filming his movie in time for the Rumble, and personally, I think they should go ahead and pull the trigger on the main event push for him. He's no great shakes in the ring, but he's got the charisma and he's arguably the most over face on Smackdown. I'd have him win the Rumble, then head into Mania against Angle to win the belt.

Don't blame me....I voted for Kodos.
I look forward to an orderly election that will eliminate the need for a violent bloodbath. </center>
