I'm trying to copy a table out of a .pdf and paste it into Excel. I can highlight it and copy and paste it in Excel but it comes out like crap.

Can anybody help me please?

the only thing that might work is to 'Paste Special' and select 'Value' rather than just 'Paste' ...

Fwiw, I figured this one out. (This shouldn't be this difficult by the way.) There is an option that only comes Acrobat Professional ($449) which allows you select a table and copy then paste it. A friend had a copy of Acrobat Pro. Reader only allows you to select text and pictures to copy. What a joke.
