First off, great night and great game. Thanks to everyone who played and most importantly to Crip and Justice! Thanks for opening your home to us convicts. Even though you didn't supply the food! Fuckin A!
Sum it up, Kate, Sticky's girlfriend was the last girl and kicked her man's ass as far as placing. She made the final table and placed fifth. I was knocked out the same exact way about an hour later by the same guy, who I won't mention bc he's still fighting the herp.
TJ, my new hero, finally sent him packing fudge and then lost a big hand to the small stack on the final table (from the start)..up to then. TJ then gave it up and his buddy took the game.
Awesome time guys, next game at Funk's house this Sunday! See you all there.

Thanks Spoon. It was great to have you over. You are one of the most enjoyable people I have met from this board. (no insult intended for anyone else)
I am glad you had a good time. The rest of the group. (mdr55 and his clan, IA and Silera) all left at about...5:15 am.
Wile.E is blissfully sleeping on the couch.
Thanks to everyone for making it a good time. Another game will be up soon.
And now for what I learned at the poker game.
1) That...according to Silera...."blankets can be thrown like bricks at a homeless person".
2) Snoogans and Silera MUST ABSOLUTELY be put at seperate tables.
3) That stickeyfingers' girlfriend rocks at poker. She is a fucking ANIMAL. (You lucky bastich)
4)That whenever you plan on people being late they wind up EARLY
5)The jaegermeister works as well on Snoogans as his 420 fix.
6) That it can take just as long for 3 people to finish a tournament then it would for 15 to start one.
7) That we had a great time and I look foward to having everyone return. Lets get it up to 21 people next time and let the cash really roll in.
Roll call now...let me know you all made it home ok!
P.S. Spoon....did your gal dump you yet? Or were ya 'whacked'????

checking in!
Start by saying that I had a really good time and enjoyed giving all of my chips to TJ on kickers. Oh well, next time i am only going all in if i have 'the nuts.'
Justice and Crip: thanks for a good time. Your place is perfect for something like that and it was nice of you to let us come there and fuck the place up.
Spoon, I wish i coulda stayed till the end. Katie had to meet her friend in the city at 10 am today. Let's put it this way:
Ride to North Jersey: 10 bucks in gas
Tolls: $2.70
Tournament entry: 20 bucks
5 boxes of pizza: 50 bucks
Snoogans getting knocked out after being the Big Stack: Priceless
The ride home seemed so much longer than the ride there. Got home and conked out.

Got home at 11am after a 4.5 hour nap. In time to go to my friend's tailgate party in a little while.
All in all it was a great time, and.. wait, there was food?
It was interesting to learn that Silera has parlayed the whole derriere thing into a field of study. How many credits can you get for that?
Oh, and about being early, you got some work out of me for that. That probably paid the 4 1/2 hours couch rental, right?
Well, I came looking to have fun and did, and lasted longer than I expected. Didn't make it to the final table, oh well.
Next time, I'll have to make sure that I don't tank up on my own brew before I play. I may do better next time.

Yep. I got that bottle of Yager at the 2002 board Xmas party from Doogie, who was my secret santa.
It had been sitting in my freezer for the 1st year then my fridge for the second year.
I am very glad you all enjoyed it. I will have to get another bottle sometime.
Granted I do not like Yager at ALL but....if it makes ya all happy!

I made it to the final table but was the first one out (had the lowest chip count going in).
But at least I got to take my bro out in the other game which is priceless! He hates losing to me because he thinks he is the way better player. He dented 2 tables at our house and when we play that I'm surprised he didn't take out that table over there......but I think he wanted to! He almost threw a chair at me one time but it hit the wall. What a sore loser.

Wow, what a night. And even though I couldn't catch a cold at the tables, it was a great time. It was great to see some familiar faces.
Wile E, the early bird, thanks for all the help & it was great playing at the consolation table with you.
Funkman, a pleasure to hang with you as always. And for a beginner, you played a mean Hold `Em, my friend.
Alkey & Silera, you two have to be the most fun couple on earth to spend time with (ps: it's a one way street, going the other way.glad to see you didn't get pulled over at 6am, we were worried).
Spoon, great to see you again. By the way, your Tetris record may stand for quite some time. Damn it's hard to aim while playing Tetris with the other hand.
Snoogans.not so great to see you, but that's purely a Yanks/Red Sox thing. But I have to give you credit for taking it easy on me even thought I was still sporting a Yankee jersey.
It was also very nice to meet some new faces.
Sticky & his girl (the Assassin) were terrific. I just wish I would have lasted on the table long enough to play with you two.
MDR55 (who cleaned up at the consolation table) & his band of Merry Poker Thugs were a trip as well. Is your brother still pissed about losing that hand to you? He was too f'n funny.still second guessing the way he played that hand as you guys were getting ready to leave, not because it was a bad call, but because he didn't read his brother properly.
All in all, I think it was a success. I'm not sure I got my money's worth in pizza, but I'll take that up with the Pit Boss at a later date.

And those two guys (TJ and Pete) were unsure about going.
Them: So how do you know these people?
mdr55: I know them. I see them all the time.
Them: from where?
mdr55: the message board.
Them: What????
All in all they had a good time and EVERYONE was very friendly.
My bro is still second guessing himself. One other weekend he tried to bluff me and I called him. Damn was he pissed off. But then again he's supposed to be the better player. (or so he thinks he is). :eg:
Now that they met everyone, I'm sure I can convince them to play softball now. :) (yeah we play that game too).

A shout out to the people at my table:
Justice4all- he was Mr. Everything (host, enforcer, dealer, doing this, doing that---damn he was like the energizer bunny).
Funkman- even though he's a beginner he played pretty good. (I would have played your King high flush the same way---it's a one-in-52 chance someone else has the Ace)
Spoon and Crippler- I'm still mad at myself for folding to you guys when both of you were bluffing that one time! That stuck in my head the whole night I was playing. You guys got me good.

Not true...after J4A talked to you, the losers table (only because it was too late to get into the main tourney) anxiously awaited your arrival. But it's cool. The evening went well, so something tells me there will be a next game in the not-too-distant future.
As for the winners, the main game winners were both friends of mdr55. And on the consolation (winner takes all) table, the last man standing was none other than mdr55, himself.
