I saw this new magazine on the stands and it appears that the folks at PC Magazine (http://www.pcmag.com) are trying to make a complete rip off Maximum PC (http://www.maximumpc.com/) which is one of my favorite techie magazines. They're trying to make the magazine look edgy and have all sorts of pc mod articles.

Extreme Tech's website (http://www.extremetech.com/) I've been to their website in the past, though now that they're launching this magazine it's just funny to me that they are copying Maximum PC from the styles all the way down.

I like MaximumPC, but if ExtremeTech is any good, it might be wroth reading both. Who knows, we'll see.

They look very similar and are priced pretty similar. I'll get it this payday and see for myself. I was looking at it and it looks pretty cool, only I noticed how much it is like a copy of MPC.
