whats with music these days?

has anyone noticed that music in general just sucks now? i took a look at music television recently and saw what garbage they put out. im especially dissapointed with rock music at this point. i guess ill have to drink my problems away til GnR reunite which will be never. your opinion really matters to me. i have no sig :mad:

Correction: POPULAR music sucks these days. Their are plenty of great artists out there for almost all genres, you just have to dig a little deeper to find them.

popular music wasnt bad back in the 80's. i just wish i could listen to the radio and not slit my wrists anymorei think that 80's pop music only seems good in retrospect, because it's fun and nostalgic. but i don't think anyone was too thrilled about having to listen to madonna all day long back then.

if anything, i'd say that music played on the radio in the 90s, or at least the early 90s, was the best in my lifetime.

but i agree with what's been said - popular music generally blows, and if you try to find it, there's some amazing stuff out there.
