The Evolution of Kane

First he was the silent mysterious brother of the Undertaker. Then he finally found his voice in a voice box. He almost joined DX, but was just teased by X-Pac. He dated Tori for a while. She dumped him, he moves on to being a badass again with a new outfit.

He faces Undertaker at SummerSlam, then goes onto being injured after facing the nWo. Kane returns with a brand new outfit which allows us to see his mouth and hear his voice clearly.

After being put on RAW and taking down the Un-Americans, we see Kane evolving into a more human being. He wins the tag titles with The Hurricane.

He loses them, but later one has a successful tag title run with Rob Van Dam. When he loses, Austin makes him take off the mask, enter Kane the monster. He does a few face things before going nuts and lighting JR on fire, Tombstoning Linda McMahon, which pisses off son Shane.

Shane faces Kane in a serious of matches. Kane is now shaved bald and is walking around in his current outfit. He helps Mr. McMahon bury the Undertaker alive who returns at WrestleMania to take down his brother.

Kane then returns with a taste for something he thought he could never have. So he stalks Lita and makes her and Matt's life a living hell. He makes Lita agree to have sex with him and carry his child. She agrees after Kane wins a match against Matt.

Lita carries Kane's child, and gets in the way of a match where Gene Snitsky hits Kane with a chair who lands on Lita, causing Lita to lose the child. Kane goes nuts, Snitsky's a dead man, and then is beaten down to a bloody pulp and is now off to film "Eye Scream Man."

Tell me, what wrestler has been more versatile than this guy?

Kane gets the worst angles and for the most part gets them to work in the end. It would be nice if they rewarded him with a solid main event push were he actually comes out on top.

They lost their opportunity a LONG time ago. Right when he unmasked and assaulted JR / Linda McMahon, he actually got pretty damn over with the crowd as a monster.

Of course, the WWE creative team, in their infinite wisdom, then decided to feud him with Shane McMahon for a good 2 to 3 months, which killed all of his heat. It's been downhill since there.

When he was doing the whole "going after Lita" storyline I was into it a little. Then the WWE writers killed it with the whole friggin "pregnant angle. I was actually expecting an eventual Lita heel turn on Matt Hardy.

Sad to say, but Snitsky is one of the freshest things on RAW, and is actually at this point more over than a sizable chunk of the midcard.

He was the WWF Champion, but he was also the last Intercontinental Champion before it was unified with Triple H's World Heavyweight Championship.

Am I the only one in thinking that Kane should have had a decent run as the WWF Champion?

Does this mean that when Kane returns we can pretend that this stupid marriage storyline never happened? Because I recall after Christian's return, no mention was ever made of his "relationship" with Trish Stratus again.

Kane has always been Glen Jacobs. With exception to a couple times when Taker played him, but that was part of an angle.
