I'm working for a small business right now, and they need someone to set up a web site for them that we ourselves can go into to update pictures weekly once its up and going.

I've never done this before, does anyone know the steps I need to do to make this happen? Is it something we can mantain ourselves? Is it expensive?

we sell granite slabs for counter tops, marble, and travertine tiles.
we basically want to photograph all of the different types of granite we sell and post it on the web site so customers can check out our inventory online. we also want to be able to update the pictures ourselves (as inventory comes and goes).

theres 5 people working here now but we're growing

no, we don't want to sell from the web site.

That should be a piece of cake. All you need is a web hosting service, which can be had relatively cheaply, and someone design a simple website. A year's hosting should cost you around sixty bucks or less.

or you may even have it as a part of your internet service.
