From 1wrestling.com:

Entrepreneurial pro wrestler and best selling author Mick Foley has signed a radio deal with Chicago-based UBC Radio, which distributes syndicated radio shows.

The two sides had been in talks for several months (Crain's, Oct. 18).

UBC CEO Brad Saul says Mr. Foley's show will be broadcast in at least 50 markets.
Mr. Foley, a three-time World Wrestling Entertainment champion, is author of two best selling memoirs, a novel and a children's book. Mr. Saul says the talk show will cover a wide range of topics, including the gap-toothed wrestler's left-leaning political views.

"He's a renaissance man," says Mr. Saul. "It should be a great program."

Mr. Saul says he expects to find a Chicago station for the Foley show-which will launch next year- within a month or so.

Left-leaning, eh? Oh dear, this ain't gonna last...

It might. Mick is a lot smarter and funnier than he's given credit for. There is a place for a wrestling based radio show. I'd love to hear Mick talk shit about stuff.

You know......I like Mick, but frankly, I'm not interested in hearing a Mick Foley political show. There's TOO MANY political chat shows already on the air......talk about wrestling, Mick, talk about sports, talk about your books, etc., but enough with the political shit......I'd rather not have Mick turn into *gasp* Jesse Ventura.

Don't blame me....I voted for Kodos.
I look forward to an orderly election that will eliminate the need for a violent bloodbath. </center>

Since the topics include, rather than focus on, politics, I think it may just be a general show. At least, I hope. I don't care much for the political shows from either end of the spectrum.

Could this lead to a Morning Zoo type show with Pauly and Steph?

I think he could pull off a regular type topical show where he talks about pretty much everything and show that he's more than just a wrestler and best selling author.
