I was working nights and I was scanning the dial when I heard Fezzy's voice talking about eating. At first, I thought it was an infomercial.
A few months later, I tuned in and heard the boys talking about a website with a "hip hop" dictionary, and I have been a fan ever since.

Coming home from my parents house late one night, flipping through the dials on the ride back. I caught it from the beginning, and couldn't believe my ears. How in the hell can they let 2 guys with voices like these be on the radio?

I listened out of sheer disbelief, and soon was hooked.

About a year ago, I used to listen to the replay of the Sports Junkies (local D.C. sports talk show, kinda like the Sports Guys) at 11 p.m., but one night I turned on the radio and instead heard two guys who sounded like they sucked helium before doing their broadcast. I HATED R&F to begin with, just didn't want to listen to the show.

Until I turned on the radio one night, and heard Hannah and her Blisters....I think it was the one where they were goofing on her lack of knuckles. I thought, "This is some of the most fucked up radio I've ever heard." And I was hooked from then on.

I fondly remember the first show in NY. I think it was the same time Don and Mike came here in Feb 2000.

I loved them in the dot-com days and I've listened to them on and off lately.

I was listning to O&A as usuall, and at the end of their show, they said stay tuned for 2 new shows, Don and Mike, and Ron and Fez. So, being the radio junkie i am, i decided not to turn to K-Rock that night, and gave a listen, i liked The Don and Mike show (Hey, it was early, and new, and it was better than Tom Lickass), and then Ron and Fez was just...something i had never heard on the radio before. it was just addictive. i was hooked before the first break ended.

i have since broken that addiction, but thats a whole other book...

I has just gotten in from work around 1am and put on the radio. I heard this FAG talking crap about some website he found. I immediately turned it off.
About a month later, same thing. But this time, I left it on and have been laughing ever since.
I love you R&F.

Driving home from college, couldn't find anything to listen to and ended up just leaving them on.

At first I thought the show was just odd... with all the pauses of dead air in the middle of conversation (anyone who use to listen to late nights knows what I am talking about)

Then a week later I was driving back to school and heard them on O&A and laughed my ass off.

Since then I have been a fan.

I guess I have a story like a few people. I was flipping the dial one time and stopped on their show. I was saying to myself that it was terrible.
I couldnt stand Fezzy's voice.
Then I really dont know when I started really loving it. Its just kida happened.
I think it was on the Sunday replays. I'd listen to them while I was trying to recover from the previous night.
They are the best now though. Even when I used to listen to that scab Stern I never was this loyal. The guys rock.

Naturally, I was listening to O&A on WNEW before Ron & Fez, but I was checking out the whole station to see what I liked. I was driving home from an Arena Football game in Hartford and I heard them talking to a band called "Lane Meyer."

It was funny, but I wasn't instantly hooked. A few nights later they had a chick on who had a website about Disney movies.

She mentioned a scene in Bambi that was edited in which the hunter dies. Fez called it the Ralph Nader ending.

I've been a fan ever since.

GODZILLA, it's good to have you here. Whatever happened between you and the show. Was the Super Bowl thing the beginning of the end. I remember e-mailing you when you were the Sports do-commando about being a R&F Arena Football dot-commando. Those days were some of the best radio.

The first time I remember was coming home from the Comedy Cellar, after I'd napped on the train. I was in my car and stumbled across them when they had on that girl who had the Crazy Grandpa website. I loved that noone in her family knew about it, I loved the idea of it, I loved her, and I loved it that Ron and Fez found her. I then started listening to them, but only on the way back from NYC, two or three times a month, maybe. I then listened to them days. I was SO EXCIITED when they moved to days.

I worked on a movie in August and I was upset that I would miss Ron and Fez for three whole weeks, but then I found out they were moving to nights the first day of the shoot! I was able to listen to them almost every night, at least for a little while. I remember being at the production office and trying to explain to the director and cinematographer the reason I was alone in my car in the parking lot laughing was because of Bad Celebrity Orgasm Impersonations.

Every time O&A went to a break I kept hearing this annoying voice saying, "Ron and Fez dot coooooooom!" I found it utterly disturbing and thougt Fezzy was a super fag. Due to my constant lack of sleep, I was able to catch a few shows and finally got hooked during the move to middays.

One day, I was listianing to O&A and they said to "give the new guys a chance", so i did.
I've been hooked ever since.

I listened because O&A promoted their show. I heard that skinheaded racist John call in, and I was enraged. I thought that the show was going to be this racist talk show.

I gave it another try, and I was hooked. I loved the dot com days. I found a lot of great sites.

I remember when I first heard them. It was in February 2000. I was listening to the radio to get some radio voice-over copy for my demo tape. All of a sudden I heard what I thought was Heaven. It was magical. It was Ron and Fez. I was instantly hooked. I had been living in New York City for 12 years and really thought Comedy Talk Radio was an 80's thing of the past (I grew up in the Midwest listening to Don Geronimo's Mentor, Steve Dahl - The Steve and Gary Show - WLS AM Chicago)

I then found out that O&A and Don and Mike were on the same channel. I really thought that I had died and gone to heaven. I listened to them constantly without fail. I also liked the Radio Chick (I did some stand-up with Chuck Nice and thought he was a really funny guy)

Anyway, I love Ron and Fez!!!

I don't remember the first time I heard Ron and Fez, but since I was in college up in Maine until May of 2000, it would have been early summer of that year. The first show I distinctly remember was the one where they were discussing the mole people. Damn funny, of course, but I think the thing that really got me into it was that it felt like more than a radio show, it was like a club. A secret that only a few people who stayed up late knew about.

And that particular show stands out in my mind because I IM'ed them, not really believing it was really them, with a website link, and a few minutes later they're talking about the website on the air and thanking me! I thought that was pretty cool. From then on I listened every night, and moreover, looked forward to it.

Well, it was when they first came to NY back in the dotcom days, and like gvac said, I wondered "who the hell let guys with these voices on the radio talking about the internet?". But I commuted alot late at night back then, and I was immediately hooked. I'd start calling in to give freaky websites and stuff, or play along with whatever weird game they were playing. One of the times I called in to plug the engrish website, I told them about how I first started listening to the show. Ron made a comparison of the show to a speedball and how you don't like it at first, but it becomes addictive.

So very true.

I was a cook at Denny's in Avanel,NJ at the time and the exterminator who serviced the store would always come in laughing and telling me about the two guys on the radio and that I should be listening to them. I always blew it off thinking that there's nothing other than Howard on the radio. Then one day we walked out to his truck he turned the radio on and this Tasteless Ginny chick was on. It was kinda funny but the thing that got me hooked was Ron and Fez talking about websites all night long. That ruled. I hope they never leave New York! God bless Ron and Fez!

It was around Janurary 1st of last year, and I had to check out these guys after all the hilarious "Ron and Fez.com" commercials I heard playing on WNEW. I tuned in and heard Ronnie asking why there are masculine and feminine words in the spanish language. He also said he didn't see why a word should have a "penis" or "vagina".

I didn't get the show after my first listen, but after the 2nd, I was hooked for sure.

I come on them and they are talkiing to some fat chick that used to sit on guys, some sort of fetish thing. Anyway Ron asks her how much she weighs and she says "about 200-250". Ron starts laughing and say "I love a woman that has to give her weight in a 50 pound range.(Talking as the fat chick)'Yeah, I go about 250-3bills' for some reason his delivery on that line had me in tears and I've been listening ever since.

I remember tuning in to WNEW on a sunday. A best of show was being played that afternoon; Ron and Fez were discussing the Perfect Storm and wondering if a blowtorch could stay lit in heavy rain storm out a sea. They took calls for about an hour. I thought it was really funny in a subtle way. I've been hooked ever since, and prefer them over O and A(just my opinion).

See ya!

I remember sitting in my car around 7:30 at night waiting for a meeting to start and I put on 102.7 and to be honest with you, when I heard fez's voice I thought "this is too gay for me" and turned it off. Well the next week around the same time and day I accidently put on 102.7 and heard mostly Ron and a little bit of fez and it had me cracking up! Ever since then, I was automatically hooked.

up, up, and away !!!!!

The first time the boys were on the 7pm-11pm slot. I was working in my token booth (ugh) and I was getting sick of hearing WFAN. So I scanned the dial and went back to WNEW. Being I had already listened to O & A, I figured I'd give these guys a try. I was hooked since then.

When I first heard the show I hated it. Fezs' voice just got to me. But I was living at my sisters at the time and wasn't allowed to smoke at her house. So I would go for drives around the town and just found myself listening to the show more and more. Eventually I started making my smoking route bigger and bigger just to listen to the show (as I didn't have a computer and I live where I didn't get good reception at home). I have listened to the show everyday for over a year now and would miss it if it ever left. And now I get to listen as I smoke right in front of my computer. <P>

I started early on in 'dot com' on my way home from playing D&D at my friends's house Friday nights. I tuned in thiniking I could get some neat-o puter tips. I don't remember what the subject was, but Tastless Ginny and Useless/Slave-Girl Betty were on. I spent the whole ride trying to discern Ron from Fez. Ever since then, I've been hooked.
