While searching for some movies I found this out about Jim Carrey and movies coming next year (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000120/)
The 6 Million Dollar man sounds like it may go either comedy or try to be like Charlies Angels and make it an actuall action movie.
But I can't wait to see the Secret Life.... Danny Kaye was outstanding in the original and I think Carrey is a perfect match for the re-make.

"What did he want???"
"What do all men want Phillip?"
"He wants you to dress up like Wonder Woman, tie him up with your golden lariat and force him to tell the truth?????"

Have we forgotten that remakes and movies based on TV shows generally suck ass?

For the most part Jim makes good movies. He's no Ben Affleck.

Ill check em all out.
Im a big fan of the guy.
Think the only movie Ive ever missed of his was the one where he came back to town from war, or something, and was thought by the townsppl to be some dear departed actor, or something.
Something like that.

I feel like an aberation, but I was in the movie theatre during Eternal Sunshine... going:
-Thats it? Erase memories and things go wrong? Movies where youre not sure whats real and whats not? Searching around for someone in weird, shifting scapes? Sounds OK but thats been done before [the memory erasure part], and what movie pill I was trying to swallow flew out of my gullet when it was just guys in a seedy room with Carrey next to them all wired up.
I hated it; and I think Winslet is fucking gorgeous, big feet and all. My $1/50.

Hope yer right

With Jim Carey its hit or miss. I either really, really hate him in a movie or I think he was amazing. Never an in between.

i have a hard time accepting him as a serious lead, detested him in 'man on the moon' and has his moments being funny -- sometimes a little goes a long way ...
'eternal sunshine' is one of my favourite movies ...

The "tech" was incidental.
Just a hint.
