...and you would still listen anyway.

So maybe that wasn't the best title for a thread but hopefully some of musically conscious will catch my drift.

Like for instance today I bought the new SNFU album and just realised that they could literally have an album full of bathroom noises I would still listen. They are really by no means my favourite band but I think they can do no wrong and 20 years strong they still keep your basic punk rock interesting to me.

Another band that is like this is Ween. They just keep themselves interesting and I wouldn't put it past them to have an album of bathroom sounds. Now unlike SNFU they do keep on reinventing themselves and keep on doing different things.

Only a few other bands do this for me but even some of my all time favourites don't do this for me. There are just some bands that could just put out anything and out of obligation or fandom you would listen and almost force yourself to like it without a second thought.

What bands do that for you? Remember, I'm not asking for favourites, just bands that keep you coming back time after time.

Hope that made some sense.

Discussions like these always help me open my mind to new bands and thing I have not heard before according to what others recommend and how passionate they are about it.

Tool.

That's it. Only albums i've ever went to the store at midnight the night they came out to buy. I know a lot of people that are like Opiate was good, or I don't like anything after Undertow. Not me, every album is just as good as the previous one.

Without a doubt, Paul Westerberg and Peter Murphy.

I would listen to anything and everything Social Distortion puts out. Im also a big fan of Jesse Malin. He only has 2 records out but I think they are brilliant. His stuff with D Generation and Ryan Adams is great too. I'll listen to anything he does.
Joe Strummer is another one. And I dont think anyone tops Johnny Cash.

Bad Religion, Social D, and Weezer.

I used to think H2O was a band like this for me, but after their last 2 releases my opinion has changed.

One Man Army, Ted Leo, and Redman are some m ore.
