Very good game. They brought back the voices (much better than a couple of years ago) and added Online and Create a PPV. I just got it yesterday and just have done Season so far.
I played a few online matches. It's a very basic online mode. No rankings, just single or Bra & Panties matches. It's really smooth gameplay and you can use created guys!
That's all for now.

How's the story mode? That right there is the most important element to me.

Every review I've read - and the majority of the reviews by actual players rather than critics - are that this is HCTP lite. They've taken out a lot of good elements and put in a lot of unnecessary and meaningless ones (online mode, commentary - which is generally said to be AWFUL).

The story for the season mode is VERY linear (i.e., it quite possibly has even LESS options than HCTP).

Fewer wrestlers, and the ones who did make the cut are of the jobber variety - and not the good kind (No Stevie Richards, for ex., but you do have Garrison Cade).

Basically, outside of graphics and gameplay, which are somewhat better, this is a poorer version of HCTP.

Which means I won't be picking this up until the price drops to around 20 to 30 bucks.

Don't blame me....I voted for Kodos.
I look forward to an orderly election that will eliminate the need for a violent bloodbath. </center>

The Story/Season mode is pretty good, but not great. You can't customize your shows :quest:
But you there are some nice pre-match things like shoving matches and chopping each other.
It's pretty much the same story for whoever you pick. Yeah you can still pick which way you want to answer a question, but it's the same outcome for any guy you pick
:(
It also stinks that while all the other characters speak, the guy you're using has a text bar :quest:
