I wasnt that stupid, but as a kid we used to walk the tracks, walk through the sewers, chase bums out of the neighboring woods (mainly to steel their porn collections), lite abandon cars on fire, destroy constuction sites. Me and my friends were a destructive bunch.

Put tree limbs on the tracks to try and derail trains.
Build ramps to jump our bikes into the brush.
Crawl through the drainage pipes that connected the brook to the river (All property of the Hackensack Water Co.)
Build a raft, and try to sail down the "Hacky" when low tide was coming in.
4th of July, steal a bunch of beers from Dad's cooler, go to the woods and get hammered.
set up boxing matches, pitting the strongest against the weakest just to see blood
Hot Peas and Butter!!
Grab onto the guardrails when a train was coming, and try to ride it all the way to the top.
Have the girls show us their vaginas, because it was in the name of science. (Got a lot of that)

one of the older kids around the corner told me that and i believed him. i actually tried to tell other people about it. i knew about pregnancy because when i was 5 i went with my parents when they drove home from the hospital with my new baby brother

i just didn't know only woman could have babies

I did plenty of death-defying stuff when I was kid. Usually, but not limited to, playing with fire and construction sites. It's a miracle that I'm alive.
But now, when I watch this vid of that kid playing chicken with a moving train, all I can think of is that poor old Conductor. He must be thinking; "HOLY SHIT, I'M GONNA RUN RIGHT OVER THIS KID!!" over and over in his head. Poor guy.
