im not really thrilled with randolph i would have been much happpier with backman. his criminal record was not even as bad as the newly elected president. but am i the only one who thinks that ,once again the mets made a decision based on trying to save a few bucks. they have to pay art howe 2 million a year for the next 2 years so they hired a manager they could get on the cheap at 500,000 per. god how i hate the wilpons and hackett

I guess that they said something critical a few years ago about him when he was coaching third and Willie didn't like it and ever since then he won't go on their show and they do nothing but hammer him. The last two weeks have been ridiculous. I hope he doesn't do his managers show with them. Let him do it with Steve.

The problem was between that fucking idiot Russo and Willie. Willie supposedly has always lacked thick skin when it came to douchebags in the media. This feud has been going on a long time though, I know that. As a Yankee fan I'm really really happy for him, he's tried to get a chance for so long and finally someone is going to give him one. As for Girardi, I think he's going to be an incredible manager someday the guy has got baseball in his blood. I'm actually hoping he gets the bench job, but in all liklihood he's going to become the new catching coach because Gary Tuck left.

Right. The douchebags keep yelling about Willie not having an Managerial experiance but they think Girardi should be named manager of the Mets. I also think he may become a good manager but could he at least coach a little first. I hope Willie does an outstanding job 1) Because I'm a Met fan and 2) He can shove it down their throats everyday.

This is going to be incredibly interesting. Willie is trying to be the bigger man and said he was going to go on the show today, and they are still tearing into him. If they keep up this bullshit, I think there may be some awkward confrontation soon.
