I treid to move up there and get citizenship 5 years ago. After reading through all of the red tape and everything that you need to get in (primarily a job) it would take some time. I just heard something like 4 years on CNN.

Besides, if I lived there, I wouldn't apreciate Canada as much as I do now because it wouldn't be as much of a special occasion to get my Tim Horton's and Lester's and I would be going to Chez Cora DAILY!

I lived in Canada from 1994-1996 in the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia. It's a really nice city. Very clean. I was only 8 when we moved away.

Whats the point of relocating your entire life just because of a president. By the time your packed and ready to leave at least 1 year will have passed, is it really worth that much trouble to stick around for another three?

when I was 19 I thought about moving to Canada. I went to toronto and Montreal and loved them both. I was going to try and get a job up there. that lasted for about 3 days until i realized that I love American and especially NJ. Its def. nice to visit, but i could never leave all my family and friends to go up there.
