At work I noticed some shitty courtroom show with a judge named Extreme Hakim, a bailiff in sunglasses, and two Jerry Springer rejects for plaintiff and defendant, with a crowd that resembled the audience for the Arsenio Hall show. It was the most retarded thing I'd ever seen. I hope it gets renewed for 100 more seasons.

as far as i know, they get sworn in and all. it would probably be perjury if it were made up. the judges on these shows are for real. i dont know that they'd be doing fake cases. i could be wrong... but that's my guess

Actually, they find real people who have filed real cases in civil court. They have researchers that canvass courts around the country looking for cases that would make good TV.
