Comics Come Home X

I went to Comics Come Home X at the Orpheum Theatre tonight in Boston and it was a killer show!

Denis Leary sang a new version of his Asshole Song about George Steinbrenner, then Bronson Arroyo came out on stage with the World Championship trophy.

Letterman's comedy guy Eddie Brill was average and Curb Your Enthusiasm's Jeff Garlin was pretty boring, but Lenny Clarke, Nick DiPaolo, Adam Ferrara, Jim Gaffigan, Patrice O'Neal and Steve Sweeney were all pisser.

But the best of them all was Dane Cook, head and shoulders the best comedian I've seen in a long time. He pretty much closed and had the longest set and got the biggest ovation.

Awesome, awesome show.

To top it off, afterwards we went to a bar and some dick smacked my female friend in the ass and when I looked at him he had a big grin on his face. So I shoved him in the chest and as he was coming to get me the bouncer stopped him and threw his ass onto the street. Sucker!

Dane is the shiz.
I discovered him in 99 and I've been a fan ever since He is the absolute best.
Glad to see that he is starting to blow up.

I've also been following Dane Cook forever. To me, he's the funniest man in the business. This past year I saw him up in Boston and down here in West Palm Beach, both killer shows. Seriously, this guy is it. People that don't know him should because there is nobody funnier in the world of comedy.
