I'm thinking about taking out a College loan and go to sleep away school. Does anyone know if it's a good idea to do this. Does anyone have a good or bad experience with loans. I heard it's the best loan interest wise to get.

I'M GETTING BILLY STAPLES BIG ASS CARD!!!

you live in the NY area right? there are about 20 good school i am sure you could commute to and save the money. that way you either take a smaller loan or no loan at all.

I took out a loan. That was a fun 2 weeks. I am still paying $50 per month for it.

I'm not a big Kevin Smith/Damon/Affleck fan, but the scene from Good Will Hunting where will tells the wannabe who is actually attending Harvard more about the subject at hand, in Afllecks defense, just kills. Coz its exactly right; with a Library Card and the Motivation, I'd say 80% of college educations are unnecesary, in terms of strict coursework.

Not so if you wanna be a Doctor, Lawyer, and positions where a degree is mandatory to even ante up, and I'll even argue those, but for now, they require the coursework.

And also from GWH, please do read Zinn's 'A Peoples History from 1492 to Present'. It will blow you away.
