All right this time the Fed has really TRULY stupefied me. Jazz, Gail Kim and Nidia fired. All three of them divas who get in the ring to wrestle. SOmetimes good, sometimes bad but they weren't merely useless eye candy like Stacy Keibler. So why have these three wrestling divas been let go, and damn near every fucking diva search loser been hired. WTF? Christy, Carmella, that ugly chick who does those god awful interviews, JBL's new fashion consultant, RVDs personal trainer all fucking got gigs but they can't wrestle. I love the Divas and a few of them are definitely spankworthy but who watches the WWE for spanking material? That's a bonus. I'm fucking sickened by all these failed actresses and models who got gigs and can't do shit in the ring can't do shit on the mic, and while nice to look at aren't (for the most part) in the least entertaining.

Last night's Smackdown featured the debut of not one but THREE of the Diva Search losers - each with a different gimmick. One debuted as RVD's personal trainer, another as JBL's image consultant, and yet another as some sort of medical technician or something.

Synth is merely questioning why the WWE would fire female workers that actually had some talent in favor of these fucking WHORES.

I'm guessing that they can get away with having the pay the diva search losers less money, but make more money on them in the long run via marketing.

Plus, since they are valets, I'm guessing they signed them to contracts that didn't have to give them PPV payouts.

Nidia and Gail Kim I'm guessing, combined, made a couple of hundred thou. Maybe more, maybe less.

I think with Nidia it was less of a cost cutting move and more of a "You're fat and we don't like your attitude" thing.

The Gail Kim thing I still don't understand.

This is one of the reasons that this contest was a joke. Fans voted these women off because they didn't want to see them on TV yet there they are.

In a similar argument, it seems that all the Tough Enough competitors are signed to developmental contracts, regardless of who wins, (my vote is for Puder, even though he's shaky on the mic, but then again, Shamrock wasn't the best speaker either).

What happened to actual competition?

Why the fuck are they there in the first goddamn place? Legit wrestling women are fired and for what? So that we can get more stupid pillowfights? I like women wrestlers. I like to watch two hotties who know what they're doing get in the ring and battle it out. The shit they make us sit through with these "Divas" is fucking sad.

Womens wrestling, much like Womens basketball, soccar, or anyother womens sport, is only worthwile to watch for the bouncing of boobies, tightening of heine's, and most importantly, the possibility of a cat fight breaking out...yumyumyum.

Nidia actually made an effort to improve as a worker, and for that I commend her - the sad reality was that she just wasn't really any good.

Also working against her was her body type. She's not an unattractive young woman, but she is somewhat shorter and stockier than the other Divas, and unlike Molly, she didn't have the wrestling ability to offset that.

I wouldn't really be THAT upset about her getting fired, if they hadn't done so to give us more talentless bimbos. But that's pretty much par for the course for how the WWE is run these days: who cares about talent when you have "stars" who look the part?

I dunno bout y'all, but I'll take a Tori/Stacy/Lita pillowfight in undies over a Molly Holly/Jazz wrestling match.

No offense, but the wrestling business as a whole would be better off with far less of your type of fan.

You'd be better off seeking out some joshi wrestling - if you don't know what that is, it's Japanese woman's wrestling. Unlike America, where looks win out over talent 99.99% of the time, the female workers are actually trained in the same manner as the men, and as a result produce workers who are wholly capable of putting on matches as good as (and in some cases, BETTER than) their male counterparts.

Akira Hokuto is a better worker than virtually ALL of the entire crop of "new" WWE stars. Aja Kong is a better monster heel than Dave fucking Batista.

Hell, even the indies have better women's wrestling than is found in the WWE. IWA-MS, for instance.

Nidia had an attitude problem. She was asked several times to lose weight, and granted, that's more of a dangerous thing to ask for than a male wrestler, but she flat-out refused.

The problem was, after the got the boob job, she expected to be the #1 girl on Smackdown. When that didn't happen and she didn't understand why (because she's not that attractive compared to Torrie and/or Dawn) she got a major attitude issue.

I'm guessing this is less of a problem of money and more of a problem with attitude.

Attitude or behaviorial problems are probably the reasons why Gail got cut too, we just haven't heard about that yet.

Drug problem, maybe?

I'm just floating ideas, that's all.
