My favorite poster, East Side Dave, got me thinking about my favorite Marty movie, hense...this poll.

Yes - there are plenty more that could have been on here (Gangs of New York, Bringing Out the Dead, Age of Innocence, Cape Fear, Color of Money, After Hours, New York, New York, Boxcar Bertha and more), not to mention being the man behind Michael Jackson's 1987 video "Bad" (which first gave us Wesley "Blade" Snipes!), but we are limited by our limits.

Definitely Goodfellas.

I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about.

"Taxi Driver." Easily in my top 3 favorite films of all time.

"Raging Bull" is right behind it, then "King of Comedy," then "Casino," then "Goodfellas," then "Mean Streets."

"Goodfellas", no contest. One of my all time "best movies" ever, but probably my favorite movie.

I actually think "Raging Bull" might be the best film he's ever made but if I was stuck on a desserted island and I could only have one Scorsese movie I'd probably choose "Goodfellas" 'cause of the music and stuff! Still, this is hard!.......Oh, I'll just say "Goodfellas" and be done with it!

.......Peekums says "the one with the bunny puppet"!!

I would also like to add that "King of Comedy" is one of the best movies ever.....even though there is no bunny puppet in it...

You know ADF, if I didnt know you had a Wry Dry Sense of humour...

That list is the toughtest fucking list I've ever seen. I saw the thrad, and my brain hit the default Scorcese flick for This Noggin: Goodfellas

But then I went down the list in horror;

The Last Waltz I will argue is the greastest Music Docu ever made, including Gimme Shelter, Woodstock, GG Allin, everything. It's just a masterpiece of capturing a Real Event that was so much more then the sum of its parts.

BUt King of Comedy to me is also a frugging Masterpiece, skewering the industry itself the whole time; Deniro shows he inhabits a character; I dont see Bobby D in a bad suit, I see Rupert Pupkin. And Sandra, this was all brand new, and she almost steals the show, until Jerry Lewis does when he decks SB; I actually think its one of His best ever too.

Taxi Driver? I cant even get started. Keitel! Foster! I remember THAT New York! I cant believe the guy trying his pistol rig is the same hayseed ball player in Bang the Drum Slowly. He was a master in his first films.

And one of the best Peter Gabriel's CDs ever is the soundtrack to LTofC. He did Birdy too, but this one... yow.

I gotta stop here and rest...

True that.

KING OF COMEDY, TAXI DRIVER, LAST WALTZ and MEAN STREETS are also all brilliant. I'm even a fan of AFTER HOURS, ALICE DOESN'T LIVE HERE ANYMORE and CASINO. I guess the only one from this list of 9 that didn't rock my world was LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST.

It depends on my mood. I saw Mean Streets recently and forgot how good it was. One of DeNiro's best roles.

"Even?"

They're great films. Didn't think it would require much effort.

I loved all the old episodes of "My Favorite Martian".. I just loved the way that his antennas would go up & down just like a tv.
