I would have benoit tonight. Batista cost him the title. Orton goes next week and has batista face HHH. Than Jericho the final week. Have jericho win the title. Have a tag match with jericho and orton vs HHH and Batista at New years Revolution.

Than have HHH beat jericho at Royal Rumble and Orton win the Rumble setting up Wrestlemania. Just letting Jericho hold the title for a month would be great and it would shock Raw if he won it and have all these title matches this month mean something.

Excellent booking, Teenweek. It's exactly what I would have. It's realistic because WWE would make Jericho's only title reign with the World Heavyweight Championship a transitional one. That and what you wrote actually makes sense and I could see it happening.

PWTorch.com is reporting that Benoit will indeed be the GM for tonight's show. He will book Maven vs. Gene Snitsky, Batista vs. Chris Jericho, Rhyno vs. Coach, Lita vs. Molly vs. Trish, and Triple H vs. Chris Benoit in a cage. There will be more teasing of tension between Hunter and Batista. There will also be a skit with Stacy and Simon Dean with the ECW DVD.

So how does the battle royale work. The winner gets a title shot at end of night or wins the belt. If it's winner gets the belt it's HHH. If it's winner gets a title shot, I bet Batista.

The way it works is that the winner of the battle royal wins the World Heavyweight Championship. I believe that it is going to be Batista and then Batista will face Orton at the next RAW PPV.

Well, tonight HHH gets to go over the entire roster.

What about Jericho? He gets next week. The speculation is that he's winning the title, but only really because the smarks have to believe that the WWE wouldn't be stupid enough to well and truly bury every major face on RAW by having Trips beat them all over the course of the month.

Ha ha. Well, we'll certainly see if that hope is blind or not.

So according to the replacement GM rules, you can do whatever you want, but then Vince can change it if he wants to, and then he can tell the GM "Well, my opinion doesn't matter. You can do whatever you want."

Felt more like Vince can overrule the GM, but when the hard decision comes down, VinnyMac doesn't feel like dealing with it, so he leaves it to the GM.

Was anybody else wigged out by Jericho 1) in "nice" street clothes and 2) having gel in his hair?

I can never, ever, EVER remember seeing Jericho in street clothes. He's always wearing his tights and a t-shirt, or his vest/sparkly shirts.

It was weird as hell.
