my wife does it for us. it kind of annoys me because we send one to people we really don't talk to anymore. the only contact we have with these people are the cards we receive from one another around christmas. and my sisters do the same thing. last year my sister was complaining because she had to write close to 100 cards. so i went through the list and could have easliy gotten rid of 30% of the list.

If anyone remembers my classic from last year about half of those I sent it to will get them again this year. I have another dandy up my sleeve and yes, the cats will be involved. I pride myself on sending out frightening but sweet Christmas Cards.

Just when you think it can't get any worse, U2 puts out another album. Terrible.

I was doing it up until 5 years ago and it would panic me as it got closer to the holiday and I hadnt yet sent the cards out, so when I moved, I kind of stopped sending them out entirely and I havent sent any, except to my goddaughter and my one aunt that has no real family. The ones I give to my family, I attach the card to their gift box, or else if I give them a gift certificate, the card IS the gift box!

I usually photoshop all the faces of the people in my family into a silly situation then order the cards online and have them sent out. It takes a few hours but its worth it.

Yup
I used to send out as many as 50, when I was working in PR & Marketing - now I send out only as many as I got the previous year. This year it's about 25.

I have such a big family that it would be so expensive to send. But maybe when we are more established I should send them out.
