I find its the women who are NEW to the city (less than 1 yrs living there) who put on a big act. But even with them its temporary, till you get to know them. People who've lived in the city for a while are much more laid back, though they complain about EVERYTHING. One thing about the city, its expensive. So alot of the new ones cant afford even basic shit. Rent slaves. Some are literally living off credit cards. Therefore they're looking for someone who's got some scratch. So if you come across as dead broke, they have no use for you.
