CLAIM (http://sg.news.yahoo.com/041128/1/3ovex.html)
A South Korean woman paralyzed for 20 years is walking again after scientists say they repaired her damaged spine using stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood.

Let me guess, you bought a Hyundai and it's sitting in your parents garage.

I'm not sure about this claim. Earlier this year S. Korea had claimed the first cloned human embryo.
MSNBC Story (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4244988/)
This is the country that has given us Rev. Moon, so any claims have to be double checked. On the other hand, if you believe our intelligence authorities (and on this one I think I do), N. Korea has built a working nuclear weapons program out of some rusty tin cans and a few rocks so you can't underestimate their science skills or technical acumen.
If it is true, even if the facts turn out to be less dramatic than the headlines, it is great news for the human race. It may also turn out to be one of those milestones for the US to measure its decline - the historical moment where, while we're arguing about whether to teach our kids about evolution, we get passed in the knowledge-based economy.

The woman's name (no joke) is Hwang Mi-Soon
So apparently, now that she's walking again,
she's looking for someone to Hwang her, and pretty soon.
I volunteer. Korean women are smokinnnnnnnnnn.
