Okay, I've finally ponied up for some web hosting to fuck around on with the help of my friends here. I'd like to beef it up with some video, articles, but no bloggery. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated by anyone with HTML or Front Page knowledge. I just started it today, so it's pretty weak.

Any criticism on the order of "Just stop before you hurt yourself" will be ignored. I mean, why tell me it sucks if I already know it?

I refuse. I think I have to teach myself this. And hands on and for the love of it, I think, is the best way. That's why I ask for ideas that I can implement. There's no reason to hire someone because the content wouldn't be worth the cost of design.

Made it a frame based website. . .I'll see how that works as I mull over any other changes. Thanks Kat for the rollover effects. I will definitely use those in the future.

Blogs are ass, that's why they call them blogs
No, they call them blogs because it's short for "weblogs."

And don't use frames. Frame sites where you see frames everywhere are crappy and amateurish.

How do I use CSS like frames? Right now when I set up different styles, I can only use one per page. How do I apply one style for my contents hyperlinks, one for my body, and one for the header all on the same page?

This is all done using CSS (http://www.meyerweb.com/eric/css/edge/)

This is one of the best pages to go to for ideas and its beautiful (http://www.csszengarden.com/)

a lot of sites you can download the HTML and CSS file and then modify them to make them your own.

Great feedback. Thanks a lot, I've been working like crazy on this since last night. I'm feeling a bit more proficient, though I'm still working on getting the CSS down to being workable. I'm adding buttons now, and I'm trying to keep the entire site from being too bright. I've also added more pages.

Its cool for a newbie. Just the yellow on blue doesn't go well with my eyes!

And make sure you validate the HTML and CSS!!

I'm trying to kill off and/or subdue the yellow and have darker reds as my main color scheme. I've been going with a darker yellow, almost gold color. Let me know if that helps at all.

But my main quesiton is what do you mean by validating?

Validate your code (http://validator.w3.org)
Validate your CSS (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/)
Basically it checks to see if all your code and CSS meet W3's standards in order for it to be compatible within most if not all web browsers.

After having to reformat twice and my usual busy schedule, I've finally gotten around to redoing my site. I like the current new setup pretty well, it's simple and easy to update. There are a few pages I haven't gotten around to changing, yet (i.e. any of the celebrity report pages) but I'll eventually get to it.

If anyone who reads this wouldn't mind just navigating it a bit and let me know if it looks and feels okay. No need to read any of it, I'm not looking for feeback regarding any of the writing.

I appreciate any responses.

Here's the link. (http://www.godsfavoritesite.com)

If you could put the nav bar at the top into all of the pages, it would be much easier to navigate. Well, not much easier, but I'm lazy and I don't want to click back every time.

If you cater to the lazy, you will be in good, if not lazy, hands.

The top nav stretches the page on 800x600... make the width of the top table/div 100% and centered so the links will break on 800x600

The indigo blue is hard to see on the dark red.

On the staff page, the links should be changed to a different color (they're blue and so is the background)

Otherwise, your site is fuckin hilarious

Thanks a lot SatCam. I just now read your post so I'll work on getting that fixed for lower resolutions. Also I wanted to add that now everything is finally in place, for anyone who wants to blow some time I'm finally able to update my Celebrity Reports.

Oh shit, I guess it's NSFW on a few pages. Sorry about that.
