my cell phone sucks

i started to use my cell phone as my only phone line last month, but the reception is terrible and its a only a slight improvement over a cup and string. admitadly(spelled wrong) my cell phone is cheap, i have the nokia that came with my att plan. is there a phone i could buy, that will work with att, that will give me quality thats close to a regular phone. or should i just give up and get a phone line.

Well, the thing to do is ask around <i>before</i> you buy your cell phone and see which carrier has the best service in your area. Different phones can have various levels of reception, but the biggest difference is the carrier. I dropped my landline and have at&t. I use a sony-ericsson t616 and it works fine.
