pretty funny stuff...

not totally related but i was telling my daughter about how when me and my best friend would walk past the County Jail in Jersey City the inmates would be hanging near the windows and my friend would yell up

"hey what did you do rape your mother?" you'd hear them yelling back cursing

Ahh...the old County Jail in JC. Those were the days yelling at the felons in the big house. Now it's a parking lot. I just past by it this morning going to the post office.

Speaking of which, did they have the Junior Deputy Sheriff's program when you were in JC Funkman. They used to give a tour of the jail, go to the courthouse and they gave out free badges and mister Softee ice cream. Memories.

This one would get me shot here.
http://www.roadragecards.com/images/RRC_sample_V.gif

I was programmed to stop honking when I came here because of all the road rage violence. I've heard countless news stories about people getting shot for cutting someone off or even just tapping their brakes to slow the person behind them down. That incident was actually caught on a 911 call and you hear him getting yelled at and shot.

It's amazing how the South is supposed to be the most polite and hospitable place in the country and NY is labeled as rude and obnoxious, yet road rage up north is no where near like it is here.

From my experience, the southern hospitality thing is a facade. The culture tends to be very self centered and cliquish. As such they can be very rude and obnoxious drivers, and quick to anger. Plus, we have a love for guns that the north just can't match.

An armed society is a polite society
Why not shoot some shithead for cutting you off?
Almost running you off the road is attempted murder!
Actually, what I do is speed up, get barely in front of the prick, and cut him off worse than he did to me
And then, not tap, but SLAM on my brakes
I think of it like a parking ticket.
Forget a quarter, costs you $55
