Lita's landing

OUCH.

Quite possibly one of the sickest missed spots I've ever seen. I'm thinking she got super lucky she didn't break her neck.

The freakiest moment of that whole sequence is seeing Lita's eye pop open when she landed. The look of terror/shock/etc. made me think she really had just paralyzed herself.

I was IMing a friend of mine, making a snarky comment about how Lita's shirt was getting ripped by the match, when the bad plancha happened.

I'm beginning to think Lita's look of shock was over the fact that she was still alive.

Definitely broke her nose though, or did something - she was holding it all through the rest of the match.

You could see the ref thought she killed herself... he was down there in about a nanosecond.

Granted this wasn't a stellar match, but considering who was in the ring it was surprisingly good. You knew Lita was gonna win based on where they were, but it still was entertaining to watch.

As for the landing, that was definitely sick and further proof that the unskilled shouldn't be attempting stuff like this. I half expected her to land on her head as well with the Moonsault.

Lita really needs to do Playboy before she ends her WWE career.

Lita was good last night (outside of nearly crippling herself), but Trish continues to be fantastic in the ring. Trish succeeds as a great heel, to the extent she ought to be involved with some of the men's angles as a manager/partner/whatever. Lita's moonsault (perhaps because she hasn't done it in so long, or the camera angle used) looked like it went farther than she used to do when she performed it consistently.

One thing that was enjoyable about the match was that it dropped much of the face/heel aspect and performed a match between two good competitors to a good end.

Jericho was great in the role of GM and his match was good, and was one of those uncommon matches that made sense to a storyline. Batista was given a chance to define his character a bit more, and he did well. I hope he remains heel and in evolution. Flair on the phone call was wacky Flair (not my favorite, but he was funny). I laughed at how the crowd HATED Benoit for hitting Flair (twice) but immediately cheered when he lit into HHH and Batista and landed the diving headbutt.

the chairshot to Batista was pathetic. his hand was so far away from his head and the chair just stopped. a couple of the shots were okay.

This was the best WWE women's match in MONTHS.

It's too bad they completely gutted the rest of the division for the sake of worthless whores who bring nothing to the table.

- Chris Benoit was actually knocked out cold from the HHH chairshot on RAW during his tag team match last night. As a result, Benoit had to get some staples in the back of his head. Benoit recovered and was feeling better.

They were pathetic, though perhaps lethal. As I said, Jericho looked to be in a lot of pain, but it was hand pain, making it a pathetuic chairshot. HHH barely tapped Batista, but the refs shot and Benoits shot looked too stiff, again, pathetic chairshots.

From the moment I saw Lita(w/ Essa Rios, not when she was a piece of ass in ECW) I knew she was so sloppy,she doesnt even slide in the ring right.However that was an awesome match for a womens match and the crowd was into it.Its a shame they dont have Gail Kim anymore though I saw a great match with Nidia and Gail Kim on Heat(no I dont always watch Heat) like 2 months ago better then last nights match.Wonder if Traci Brooks and Trinity will ever be in WWE?
