That's one of the threads about going to a strip bar. There was another one also......I remember DMM posing on that one and a couple of more people stating that they never went to one before (at least that's the story they're sticking too ;)) and how going to tiity bars were a waste of money.

The law of diminishing returns does not simply mean that, say the more times you visit a strip club, the less exciting or fulfilling it is each time.

The law of diminishing returns says that say you go to a strip club and get a private dance. The dance is good, so you get another dance. The second dance is not twice as good as the first and the next one is not going to be three times as good as the first one.

In a more realistic sense, say you are a gold miner. You work for 10 hours and mine 300 lbs of gold. If you work 20 hrs it is reasonable to expect that you will mine 600 lbs of gold. If you keep doubling your hours, eventually you stop doubling the amount of gold you mine, and you will actually become incredibly inefficient. say at 60 hours you only mine 700 lbs.

Deriving less satisfaction out of something like eating a steak or going to a strip club is not exactly what the law is talking about.

Now, since the subject is strip clubs, I'm gonna share with you guys my lil' scam.

Ok, so the game is they lie to you, but we play along and all.
I used to share a house with a georgeous stripper (she was a dead ringer for Room 222 - era Karen Valentine).
So I thought about what they were into and how I could come up with a good story that they'd not only find interesting, but would maybe get me a little extra performance.
I have succeeded.
Heh heh heh, I tell them that I run a shelter for abused animals.
I say I have this bigass farm and I take animals from the animal shelter so they don't get euthenized, as well as wild animals that are injured by cars, and nurse them back to health.

Killer line, to be deployed at juuuuust the right moment, when they're drawn in and are asking about how rewarding it must be: "Yes, yes, it's sometimes hard to not get attached to the little critters, especially when you lose one" (said looking them straight in the eye, kinda sad and sincere).

My new line is when you are sitting there and they come over to you and start talking say you only have $10 left. This way you get a rub down for half the price.

Some may say it's a waste of money, but I say if you have a good time, that's all that counts. Just like paying to go to a baseball or football game. You spend some money to have a good time.

By the way, a striper was trying to sell me this. For $250 a half hour in the champain room. Is this a good deal?
