I find alot of the same stories, but there seems to be something below the surface here. Figured by now someone would have turned this into a movie or at least an A&E bio like Andre or something.Thanks though.

I think the father, Fritz Von Erich, was the cause of a lot or their problems. I not saying he was the casue of their deaths. Many people say he pushed his kids too hard. David, who didn't have the skills , was pushed to the top. Mike, who didn't want to be a wrestler was thrown into the industy. I think David ODed and Mike died of an infection. Kerry, who lost part of his leg in a motorcycle accident returned too early and suffered an infection. He was arrested for forging prescriptions and later violated his parole after getting caught with some pot. He didin't want to go to jail and was depressed over Chris's death, so he shot himself in the chest. Chris was the youngest who felt like he couldn't measure up to his brothers physically, he was smaller and chubby, and he shot himself.

Kevin is the only one still around I think and produced a DVD that came out a few months ago.

You couldnt wirte a story like that, no one would believe it! For so many brothers to kill themselves like that one after the other there had to be some sort of intense deppresion in thier genes. Most people have that sometime in thier life but find something to hold onto. These guys seemed to be looking for a reason to end it all. The first baby being electrocuted would be bad,but they turned into Kennedy's!

Mike died of an infection.

Actually, he nearly died of toxic shock syndrome, but ended up committing suicide via drug OD less than 2 years later.

Why would the tornado kill himself and put his family through that? It can't be justified beacuse of a few months in jail.

The problem is that the Von Erichs aren't really known outside wrestling circles, so Hollywood doesn't know too much about them. It's not like they are Hogan or Andre.

Totally, there is no question. I would have thought these incidents would separate them from wrestling to tragic dynasty that whole thing.

Something like 5 of 6 brother's either overdosed, committed suicide or died in a freak accident.
