My kitty got surgery today

My little cat Lemmie got spayed today and she is recovering from the anastesia (sp?) the poor little girl is all groggy and can't walk. I feel so bad for her. She has to stay in her carrier until the morning unless she is showing vast improvement. I tried once to let her out because she was awake and meowing but I had to put her back in because her legs are still weak and she fell over trying to walk. I hope everything is going to be okay. Have you guys ever had your female cats fixed?
