it took me a couple of minutes to finally understand that it was stolen. I was thinking, maybe I parked it somewhere else, maybe someone borrowed it

one christmas my aunt 'who was visiting us xmas eve' at our apt in downtown jersey city had her car stolen. it turned up in newark and all the gifts were still in the trunk. so it was just somebody 'needing a ride'...

this happened to me last christmas eve.
i had my truck towed to my mechanics lot because it wouldn't start(weak battery but not dead yet). i call the day after christmas to check on their progressand their reply is "we never received your truck".i called the towing company,they assured me that they droped the truck off,but never got their ticket singed by anyone at my mechs office.
2 months of fighting with both sides and being hours away of signing a lease for a new (much much nicer) truck the cops from 4 towns over call they found my truck.
the thing was in perfect condition and nothing was missing,even the thirty bucks in the ashtray was still their.
i don't know if this will help , but maybe it'll give
some hope of getting your car back.good luck
