well i doubt the google stuff will generate any money b/c its a CPC model and i doubt you guys are gonna click through on these shitty ads...don't click on them for the sake of driving up our stats either, that wont work...it goes by ip and cookies so you can click 1000 times and it will only register them once...

i'll drop it after a month or so and try out the one we're using on foundry...(adbright) they wont be adult ads like they are on foundry though...

well it depends, all of the run of channel ads you're seeing are paid on a CPM model but they're so fucking cheap you make like percentages of a penny...

you don't really make money on adwords unless you're a highly targeted site appealing to a specific mainstream niche ...

which we're not...

we'll see how it goes i guess...i mean our traffic is none too shabby...

yup, that's actually not a lot...to put it into perspective, foundrymusic.com gets 433,522 uniques a month, 3,736,813 impressions and 83,044,876 non unique hits a month...and did 423.74 GB in traffic just for the website (not for the files server, which is in the terabyte range)

im thinking maybe we could register as a non-profit charity...i wonder what's involved in that or if that would be the best way to give maximum cash out to the public while still saving a little for us for some kick ass parties...any CPA's out there?

its kind of keyword based...like our wrestling section will show wrestling ads...its not an exact matching...it goes by google spider indexing...google indexes the page and best determines what vertical & category it falls under and displays ads accordingly
