This has been addressed in other posts.

A quick syopsis is that Dumpy, the producer of the Ron and Fez show prior to Al, wanted to take a 4 week vacation to Australia. He only had 2 weeks vacation time.

He was gone 4 weeks and was not welcomed back. He wasn't fired; it was more like he defied an ultimatum management gave him about the vacation.

We hope he's doing well.
