From some dude that didnt like the small amount of money coming out of his check, I learned you can revoke your ssn. You just wont get shit when your turn comes as a downside.

10 years later its more apparent that you wont get shit when your time comes either way. There are people upset that your ssn is used for identification purposses which relates to everybody being forced to pay income taxes eventhough almost none of us earn an "income" in the legal sense anyway.

To people in the know I ask the up and downside of revoking this bitch, if its even possible etc.

Actually, today's estimates say that Social Security will last longer than it estimates said 10 years ago. Social Security will be fine for a long time, and small changes will make it fine forever.
