Mick Foley and ROH

Has anyone else been following Mick in ROH? It's bee pretty good stuff with him and Rick Steamboat about Ring Of Honor vs Ring Of Hardcore.


It's almost funny how ROH is capitalizing on the comments in Flairs book and turning it into an angle where the WWE can't even do it.

i haven't heard anything about this...what is the storyline?

Foley showed up at at a show and and put over ROH, but in his speech he said ROH represented Ring of Hardcore which pissed Steamboat off....he later came out and talked about Pure Wrestling and how Foley's style (hardcore) was garbage wrestling ......

They eventually faced off, Foley calling Pure Wrestling ..."soft core". Great back and forth dialogue. When Steamboat mentioned his classic matches with Savage, Jake the Snake, then FLair, which pissed Foley off. Foley issued a challenge:

Mick Foley's Hardcore team of BJ Whitmer & Dan Maff meets Ricky Steamboat's pure wrestling team of Nigel McGuinness & Chad Collyer.

Their back and forth on the mic was better than anything on Rawor Smackdown.


I guess it's over now that Steamboat is now at the WWE, but Foley supposedly has some angle with Samoa Joe starting.
