Drudge has this image on his front page and under it, has the headline: "California Shock: 2 Feet -- Of Rain!"

Now, can somebody explain to me what this picture has to do with rain? It goes completely unexplained... It looks like a flaming meteor fell out of the sky, ripping through the clouds, and splashed iinto the sea.

I'm confused.
