I admit I was a chorister.
Why?
The chorus traveled more, meaning time away from class.
No lugging around instruments.
Chicks.
I could actually sing.
Maybe playing the tuba might have been cool, but the chorus was "where it was at"!

Orchestra. I'm a violinist. I
even spent my Saturdays at
music school, but at least I
had enough time during lunch
to run home and catch WWF and
American Gladiators. Ah, that
was back in the day...

Chorus. I could carry a tune. Plus it meant more time to goof off when we weren't rehearsing (I was too lazy to learn an instrument).

Our choir director was insane, though. She had us sing a freakin' Christmas song for our regional competition. This was in APRIL.

I'd have to say that I was the kid that didn't participate in JACK SHIT! I was the kinda quiet one in the back of the classroom, only joking with a select few close friends.

But Now I play in a Death Metal band called UNHALLOWED! I play drums.

Did anybody ever play the triangle?

So I'm the only male violin player here, that doesn't say anything about me.

In elementary school every student was part of the Gee Club. It was a Friday thing.

I apologize for my awful call Thursday, I stink.

i tried to play the flute in 3rd grade but could never get a sound to come out. I am now a professional skin flute player...
i was in orchestra freshman year in high school. i tried to play the violin - but I took it because there was this really really hot senior in the class, too.

I have to admit I was a chorus kid. I love singing but now my voice got so low I sound like the tall dude on Boys to Men. ZOINKS!

We never had a marching band in Bay Ridge Brooklyn..we would have never stopped marching out of the school.
And we would have hocked our instruments for beer money. And those uniforms? We would have caught a serious beating.
