I'm currently using Power-Grab 2002 Version 2.6 to check out newsgroups.
I'm a Cox Cable user and log on using cox's news server.
When I travel and have my laptop with me, Is there some kind of public news server I can use? I wasn't able to use my usual news server.

I take my iPod with me on work travel and I'd like to be able to keep up with the show.

Anyone? PM? Just like to be able to listen to the show while I'm away from the DC area.
I use Agent for newsgroups.
I tried Free Agent, Do I need to use the paid version to download files (such as <b>.mp3</b>'s)

Public news servers for normal postings = yes.
Public news servers for binary files = no.
The only way you will get binary postings on the road is the sign up for a dedicated newsgroup service like Easy News (http://google-easynews.easynews.com/) Giga news (http://www.giganews.com/)

I also like Agent. Especially the way it joins together a program that is posted in several pieces.
And PORN!
