How do Conservative commentators justify being in support of our men and women fighting over seas and yet get into a snit when Ted Koppel read the names of the war dead on Nightline a few months back, I know I heard Laura Ingram say some stupid things about it and I believe Sinclair broadcasting preempted nightline the night of the broadcast, Wouldn't it honor there sacrifice by letting people know the name of the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for there country

Probably because they don't want to be reminded of how much blood they have on their hands.

What was her reason for criticizing Koppel? I'm sure she gave one, she as 4 hours to fill. Instead of asking us, why not post what she said and answer your own question.
I really hate these loaded threads.

My friends, isn't this just typical? Another intelligent conservative here, railroaded by our liberal justice system, just like Colonel Oliver North, officer Stacey Koons, and cartoon Smokesperson Joe Camel

Yeah, they should lay off the hooch or they get outta hand. :p
Just because one or two commentators do something doesn't mean you should brand the entire group. It's no more valid than saying all Liberals will lie under oath because Clinton did so.
Watch the width of your brush, dude...

But they almost all uniformly complained about the Ted Koppel bit. As opposed to only one Democrat who "lied" under oath. Over a matter for which he shouldn't have been under oath in the first place. Out of curiousity, I've completely forgotten, why the hell was he testifying about whether or not he had an affair?

Paula Jones filed a sexual harrassment suit against him stating that while he was Governer of Arkansas, he harrassed her. As part of pre-trial discovery, questions as to Clinton's relationships with other women came up.
He tried to prevent the lawsuit by claiming that a "sitting president" shouldn't be subject to a civil lawsuit. This argument was rejected by the Supreme Court. He tried to claim that [sexual] relationships with other women was irrelevant to the case, and he was required to answer questions about his indiscretions.
Monica Lewinsky's name came up because the OIC got a tip that someone (perhaps Clinton) was trying to influence her testimony, and the investigation expanded to look at her. In this course, more information came out that he had a sexual relationship with her while in office.

Oh, no, we should.
And I will.
Political pundits, of ANY political persuasion, are useless sacks of poo who are just afraid to get real jobs.

My God, and after all that, the perjury charge regarding sexual relations was the best they could come up with? Jesus, they had 6 years.
And, by they way, thank you for answering the question, Wilee.

The OIC was only investigating matters in relation to the Paula Jones case. I'm sure a full investigation of the President (-any- president, in fact) would reveal a lot of questionable stuff, maybe stuff that he/they could/should be locked up for.
