Can we finally just make a gun big enough to shoot the planet in the head?!?

DO.

NOT.

GIVE.

ROBOTS.

GUNS.

I'll be in my bunker. Don't knock on the door, because I'm assuming everyone is just a filthy robot in disguise and the bullets will FLY.

Anyone know what this is? It's the Army/Marines test vehicle the Firescout. It's based on a single seat helicopter but is modified to be flown by remote. How do i know i was a liasion engineer on this project. The use of UAV's and VTUAV's have already served countless flight hours already in war time. The robots are just an extension of this as they are still controlled by humans. However I think in the end it won't happen because its a shame to say a robot costs lots of money to replace but humans aren't as expensive. However, these things may be better deployed as field pick up units for injured soldiers such as the firescout may be used for.

However the area where these robots and UAV/VTUAV's is best used is homeland security and patrolling our borders for illegal immigrants, they can cover a vast area and can be equipped with IR/VISIR cameras to pick up objects that move in the night.
