They dont stream the FAN either. Its because they dont want people listening. So STOP! STOP LISTENING! WE IN INFINITY WANT AS FEW PEOPLE LISTENING AS POSSIBLE!

News radio is different that personality driver radio. You tune into the news for just that, the news. you do not care who is reading it. Hence the streaming online.
But people listen to R&F or Mike and the Maddog because they like them and their show.

I am anxiously awaiting Rocco Dispirito's show to be streamed so I may be inspired here in San Diego as I write up the evening's new specials.

I've heard his show. Pretty good if you're a food guy (Who isn't in San Fran) Doesn't have a radio voice, but he knows his shit inside and out. Also, down to earth, not too technical. Doesn't try to get you to make Marie Antionette dolls out of marzipan. Overall, I like it. Good show.

I just assumed it had to do with advertising dollars. I could be waaay off here but:
The radio station charges advertisers a X amount of dollars based on a certain number of listeners. If they stream the show, that number of listeners might double but, the commercial prices would likely stay the same.
Basically...the advertisers reach more people for the same amount of money but, the station has all the bandwidth. site, server, and maintenence charges.
ADVERTISERS=1, STATION=0.
The number one morning show in Canada (Roger Rick and Marylin) streams for free right from their official website. I assume it's because THEY are number one and can charge advertisers accordingly. The number two show doesn't stream.
I guess it all boils down to the dollars.

It's a start.
It was announced today as I heard it on KYW News Radio here in Philly that Infinity would begin to stream 11 of its news and news talk stations with other formats "down the line".
I can only hope that WJFK will be one of the first included in the other formats. Knowing my luck it will be K-Rock or WYSP.

WNRN (alternative/new music/and some rap) in Charlottesville, VA streams, and they are great. It's listener supported, so there's no commercials, and they play music that doesn't normally get played on the radio.
I prefer indie pop rocks on <a href="http"//somafm.com">somafm.com... well, when I'm not listening to syndication underground.

Wow.. somafm.. I haven't been to that site in years. Forgot all about it. I love Groove Salad and used to listen to it constantly. Thanks for reminding me about it!
