UPN dropping Smackdown

According to the Torch, 1wrestling, and oh, just about every other wrestling news site, UPN has decided not to renew Smackdown once the show's contract expires in a year.

I don't think Spike would be willing to give WWE another primetime slot. If Smackdown! goes away their will be massave layoffs, but would improve Raw greatly. I'm all for it.

There's no room for teveryone on one show if you look at how the storylines run. Raw is HHH's. How are you gonna fit all the other stars in and still keep Trips happy? it's almost impossible.

CSI isnt counted on the list with raw cause CSI isnt a cable program. its a network program, but in syndication it gets rated, and SEE, IT KNOCKS THE SNOT OUT OF WRESTLING
but yea i read it a little further and thats actually it. CSI on spike has 2 million plus more viewers
actually 3 million more

Who cares? The point is, Smackdown sucks so bad a Fox affiliate is droppin 'em. I say make one big roster, just like the good all days. Drop all the trash on the roster...which would be 90% of the SD roster, and have 2 cable shows a week in primetime, and 1 weekend show....Heat I guess...Spike has CSI and 2 episode of MXC on Thursdays...Im sure theyll be fine with giving their top rated show...or 2nd top rated show, whatever, another primetime slot.

I don't think the syndicated ratings count cable. Law and Order reruns are listed in the cable top 15 and CSI is not. CSI has reruns that air on basic TV as well as cable.
