Favorite Booze

Today I got to thinking, as much as I love my weed, I also love Jack Daniels. It's easily my favorite booze and 99% of the time when I'm out drinking with buddies I'm drinkin Jack. I only picked up drinking Jack about 2 years ago; like that's when it offically became my drink. Before that I experimented with Gin & Tonic but after a short while I got kinda tired of it. I see myself growing old and never getting tired of Jack. So my question to all of you, what's your favorite booze? (If you wanna be a vagina and include beer you're more than welcome, but I was really interested in hard liquor.)

For Christmas my now ex-boss gave me a bottle of Glenfiddich single malt special reserve whisky. It is very good. It's smooth, though it also has that bold yet somehow subtle flavor of whisky. I don't know how to describe it other than to say it's very drinkable but yet it retains that flavor that very similarly makes Jack Daniels so popular, only it's a smoother drink.

Anyway, Jack is definitely the best, but I do find myself enjoying Beam quite a bit. Also, I never realized how much I hate scotch until recently, I hadn't had it in a while and the contrast to whiskey (which is delicious) was just awful.

I love Bourbons. Though the darker ones like Jack Daniels, Bookers and Woodford Reserve are more for mixing, to me. Coke, Juleps, etc. I like the clear, single malts.
I love Makers Mark. Smooth and elegant.
I adore Knob Creek. Strong as a mule. Straight up. No ice, no bullshit. Great after work drink.

For me, it's usually whiskey. Kentucky whiskey, that kind, not that Southern Comfort bullshit. Tastes like cologne.

I LOVE a good Irish whiskey too. I'll drink lots of things though. No Tequila or gin!

I just discovered it a few months ago actually. I figured it was going to have a similar taste due to the fact that they totally ripped the square bottle off from Jack, and it was sitting next to Jack in the store with a cheaper pricetag on it.

I bought it and it was just about as good. It's slightly different. Kinda like store cola compaired to Coke or Pepsi. But I mean it's not like whiskey has a sippable flavor. You drink it to get shit faced, so who cares about the little difference. I do go with Evan Williams a lot now.

Crown Royal was very good too.

My friend, The classic Bourbon drink is straight up, no ice . Try the lighter Bourbons. Jim Beam's a little rough with the aftertaste. Makers Mark, Knob Creek are smooth and amazing, but expensive. Worth every cent, though.
