Its way to hard to tell. some rolls fill you up way more than other. I like Spicy Yellowfin roll. I could put down about 35 of them. Other rolls I will stop at 24 or 25.

At an all-you-can-stand place, I can probably hit that mark, but after a certain point, it turns into making sure you get your money's worth, instead of savoring the sushi.

Sushi buffet seems to be a typically perverse American interpretation of something foreign.

Yeah, mad props for the Long John Silver's pic and reference. I am glad in a way that KFC is going down the shitter and they are now splitting their restaurant with a better restaurant to get people in the place. How can you NOT love those Hush Puppies. Dip them in melted butter, even better.

I guess the recent boom in Sushi and japanese restaurants has been good because Sushi is something up until two years ago, I had always wanted to try from an actual Japanese place. The California Roll at the Chinese Buffets was ok but I knew it wasn't the real thing.

There are now a few Japanese places within striking distance of me here in backwood PA and it is nice. I go about 2 - 3 times a week and usually have 3 rolls (18 pieces) and a bowl of Miso Soup. I had just treid the Hibachi this year and of all things, it turned me off from Chinese food. I always found Chinese food to be a little greasy and after having Japanese food, it pulled me away. I rarely have the Chinese anymore.

I really need someone to go with me who knows their Sushi shit and who can educate me a bit on what is good to get. I always feel as if I am being insulting to the waitress and chefs if I ask what is good. I have really enjoyed the rolls of Spicy Yellowtail, Eel, Spicy Tuna, Salmon and my favourite Shrimp Tempura. I went to U Yee Sushi and Hibachi in the Woodbridge, NJ area today and had this roll called Volcano which just kicked my ass. It was so fucking good. I believe is had the cucumber, Salmon Tempura and some seaweed in it's roll and then had this Southwest Style type of sauce over it. INSANE!

Actually, using your hands is a totally acceptable way of eating sushi, it's considered a finger food. It's just that for some reason Americans can't handle that fact and instead look like fools trying to struggle with their chopsticks.

For others who are looking to try sushi but aren't sure what they will like or what to order I highly suggest (if you are in NJ) going to Minado Japanese Seafood Buffet (http://www.minado.com/). Go to the Morris Planes location, the Little Ferry one stinks. There the quality of sushi is pretty decent (as a beginner you wont know the difference anyway) and they give you a really good selection of everything. It also has other warm Japanese foods you might like more if you don't like the sushi such as a noodle bar and stuff like teriyaki chicken. Don't think of it as just some crappy Chinese buffet either. This place is near Vegas quality in it's buffet food.

I havent had sushi in a long ass time. The place that I ised to go to closed. However Publix down here has fresh made to order sushi for about half the price of a restraunt. Its a little smaller than what you get in the restraunts too but its damn fucking good!

When we were there we were reminded of a college cafeteria. The sushi was poorly made with the pieces of fish being way to small compared to the rice. The Japanese food seemed old and wasn't too special.

Go to the one in Morris Plains and you will never want to go back to the Little Ferry one again. It blows it away in terms of food and cleanliness.
