View Full Version : Inter-promotional WM matches

By now I'm sure you've all heard they are thinking about an Angle vs HBK inter-promotional match at Wrestlemania. Personally, I don't get why they may be pairing those two, but if so it should still be one hell of a match.

Before I even read this next one, I was thinking to myself that it could be a possibility based on their history and the similarity of the opponents in their current feuds. Then I read it may be actually be happening.
Kane & the Undertaker vs Snitsky & Heidenreich at WM.

I know most aren't "big man" fans like myself and Vince, but what do you think of this idea? Personally I love it. Granted it won't be a wrestling purist's dream, but for a pure power match it may be entertaining.

I think that with last year's Undertaker/Kane, Goldberg/Lesnar and whatever the other mathc was, they're going to be starting a tradition of RAW vs. Smackdown type matches, which I don't mind.

Kane & the Undertaker vs Snitsky & Heidenreich at WM

and if you can keep all that crap in one match, all the better.

I think Snitsky and Heidenreich would make a great team. Their promos would be priceless. I like your poetry. I like what you do with babies. Start their music off with Hush Little baby don't say a word, and have snitsky say it's not my fault and than come out to some metal tune.

We're definitely gonna see another hint at it at the Royal Rumble. Perhaps Snitsky will help Heidenreich with the casket match, or there will be a confrontation with the four in some way.

some I"ve thought of (some are face vs. face but they would make for good/popular bouts for such a big event

Cena/Orton (didn't they tease this last year??)
Angle/Michaels (CRIPPLEFIGHT!!!!)
Eddie/Benoit (a real solid technical bout)
Jericho/Mysterio
Batista/JBL (just to see JBL get his ass kicked)

Looks like the Taker Kane Vs Heidenrich Snitski thing is the right guess. Although that looked incredibly gay. I like You yea i like you too

I almost thought there was going to be a triple threat match with Cena-Batista-HHH....but I was disappointed

I was thinking there could have been a Shelton-Hass match too

It seems going to be those three, and they look like money making matches. HBK and Angle is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

HBK vs Angle is going to be great. I would like to see Cena vs Christian. How funny was Eddie Guerrero stealing Flair's number and than his wallet.

Expect to see HHH "strongly suggest" that Batista go after JBL's title instead so that Evolution can control both brands, and that this could possibly play out for the next few weeks (until No Way Out)

HBK/Angle they have been building since Survivor Series, and as long as it doesn't go too long it should be a great match.

Benoit/Guerrero would be a good match, but I don't see it being worth the time to invest in it. Try to get either of them involved in something a little more important.

Really? HBK/ Angle should go at least 30 minutes if not more. I hope this is just the beginning of a program that could last until Summer Slam or even Survivor Series. These are probably the last 2 guys that could probably pull off an Iron Man Match which would be an awesome conclusion to their feud.

As far as Benoit/ Guerro , I would rather see them face each other in a classic at WM then see either of them job out to Tomko or Jindrak. WWE will probably never use these guys for much more than that now.

Guerrero was probably the most entertaining part of that PPV. And how bad ass was his suit?

And I know I haven't really watched SmackDown in a year, so I missed just about all of the $1 million Tough Enough, but did anyone else see that Puder kid come out & think, "Holy shit, WWE signed Tito Ortiz?!...And shrunk him?!" That kid should be sued for gimmick infringement. As soon as the welts on his chest go down, of course.

That would have been the best part of the whole night, if I wasn't reminded right in the middle of it that Hardcore Holly collects a WWE paycheck & tours the country living his dream while I still work on an hourly wage.

Eventually they are going to have to have a RAW vs Smackdown PPV. Perhaps at this year's Survivor Series it will all culminate into that.

I do look forward to how Batista's number one contendership plays out in the next couple of weeks.

HBK doesn't have the legs he used to, if it's about 15 minutes it will look like a classic. Angle has been hit or miss for me lately, but he's still my all around favorite.

i haven't watched Smackdown in a long time, but seeing Angle again last night will at least make me watch it tonight. the guy rules.

it will be interesting to see where they go with Batista tonight.

got 2 questions though:
1. why do some think they would do a Guerrero/Benoit match at WM? while it would be great, they seemed to work together last night at the beginning and then when the ring filled up they went their different ways in the match. i don't remember anything in the match which will lead to a WM match.

2. what happend at Survivor Series between Angle/HBK that would have started this feud? was it just an interview type thing.

and the thing last night with the Tough Enough kid was great. could have been better without Holly, as i think like others he is a dick, but it was still entertaining. that kid took a beating. and it was also cool how they waited for Hassan to get in the ring and all kicked his ass.

Teddy Long will probably make Cena the #1 contender to JBL's title at Wrestlemania since he technically did win.

So, I didn't bother to waste my money on this PPV since it all turned out just like everyone expected. Who was the mystery Rumble entrant anyway?

By the way everything kinda went down on during the Rumble (one of the most enjoyable for me in quite some time actually).

-HBK vs. Angle (only WM worthy match)
-Batista vs. HHH
-Taker vs. Shnitky?
-Kane vs. Heidenreich?
-Cena vs. Christian?
-Benoit vs. Guerrero (also WM worthy)

Once again the WWE completely blew a huge opportunity last night. I figured since they held the Kane-Snitsky cage match until the main event, they had something planned. If I, or anyone with a brain were booking this shit, Heidenreich would have shown up and gotten involved, thus setting up WM. Then on Smackdown, Snitsky would appear to go after Taker.

Is it that fucking hard to write this shit?!?!
